GENERAL RULES

  1. Student should be regular and punctual to school. Late comers may be refused admission to class. The signature of the Headmaster is required.
  2. Students are to be very clean with their personal appearance, uniform, text books and other belongings.
  3. Each Student is to be responsible and should take care of one's own articles/belongings. The school is not responsible for things that are lost. Stealing is a serious punishable offence.
  4. Be polite, obedient and friendly in your behavior towards every person, e.g. teachers, school-mates, parents, etc., in school and outside.
  5. Be willing and ready to co-operate in building the honour and pride of the house (in school) to which you belong.
  6. Proficiency in language specially English, Konkani and Hindi is necessary. Students should speak English in the school campus. 7. Absence due to illness for more than 3 days requires doctor's certificate.
  7. Students should not write and scratch on well, furniture, black board, etc.
  8. A proper haircut is essential or else appropriate measures will be taken by the School authorities.
  9. Causing damage to school or personal properties will have to be made good.
  10. Playing, shouting or running about in the class rooms or corridors, is not allowed.
  11. Students should not climb or sit on the parapet of the verandah and stairs.
  12. Students should not bring to school other books, newspapers or magazines without the prior permission of the Headmaster. 14. The Headmaster's sanction is required for making any collection of money or in kind.
  13. Students will not meet parents/visitors without the prior permission of the teacher and headmaster during school hours.
  14. Cheating and using dishonest means in competitions and examinations is a serious offence and will be accordingly dealt with.
  15. Participating in strikes, demonstrations and politics is not allowed.
  16. Bunking from school is not allowed.
  17. Habitual late attendance, irregular attendance, habitual inattention to school work, insubordination to teachers, dishonesty, unbecoming language, stealing, association with drugs, alcohol or smoking and other objectionable conduct will be accordingly dealt with.
  18. Students who lose their Calendars should immediately buy a new Calendar from the office.

RECOMMENDATIONS TO PARENTS

  1. Involve yourself fully with your children's work and study. You are the real educators of your children and builders of their character.
  2. Check your child's school Calendar for homework, examination portion, time-table and remarks from the Teacher and Headmaster.
  3. Your precious signature should be reasonably used to endorse various items in the School Calendar, the child's report card and letters to the Headmaster. Watch out for its misuse by others.
  4. Meet the Teacher, or the Headmaster only when required and with permission. Discuss your child's welfare.
  5. Encourage the Parents Teachers Association (P.T.A.) by your participation or contacting your area representatives and by your contribution.
  6. Discourage private tuition. Encourage personal study and openness with the teacher in school.
  7. Parents cannot dictate to the Management. The Management reserves the right to say on what condition they will admit/ retain pupils in their school provided such conditions are in conformity with the Education Code and instruction issued by the Director of Education from time to time.
  8. Use the suggestion box at the School Office for your Suggestions or Complaints.
  9. Every student should generously contribute towards "The Poor Students Fund".
  10. At the end of the school year old book & old uniform could be donated to the school "Book Bank" and "Uniform Shelf" to help those students who cannot afford to buy books and makes uniforms.
  11. Parents are encouraged to donate towards "Prize/Scholarship Fund" and "Development Fund" of our school to encourage students to study well and score a higher percentage of marks and to enable the school to obtain modern educational aids. 12. No motor vehicle/ Mobiles are allowed in the school premises.

For High School - Daily Use : Cloth material available at Shop No.5 (Neogi) Mapusa.

  1. White Short Sleeve Shirt, (2 Shirts)
  2. Navy Blue Short Pant (2 pants)
  3. Shirt Tucked in.
  4. Sandals only black (rainy season)
  5. Navy blue canvas shoes (after rainy season)

ADMISSION AND LEAVING

  1. The student will submit for admission the original Birth Certificate/ Leaving Certificate and progress report of the previous school. Students from outside Goa State need their LC to be countersigned by the Education office of the place, they are coming from.
  2. Fees of the month, Admission, Term and other must be paid during admission time. Pupils who have completed 51⁄2 years as on 1" June of that year can be admitted to Std. I (for Primary School only).
  3. One month's notice is to be given before the withdrawal of student. In case of shorter notice, one month's fees will be charged. All dues must be cleared. Please use the Application Form available in the school office.
  4. Duplicate L.C. if required will be issued only on payments of a fee and on giving an affidavit to support the application.

EXAMINATION AND PROMOTION-RULES

  1. There will be 2 tests and an examination at the end of each term for High School.
  2. Absence from any exam/ test will affect adversely, unless a written information reaches the school, the same day. Medical certificate is to be submitted in case of sickness.
  3. Promotion to Std. IX will be decided as per the Grade pattern decided by the Goa Board of Secondary and higher Secondary School Education.
  4. Result declared at the close of the year are final in all cases and will not be reconsidered.

  2. Co-curricular The aim of this is to develop a healthy body and sound mind; to infuse in students the spirit of Sportsmanship, disciplined behavior, mutual respect, co-operative effort and honest competition through the following activities: Elocution, Essay. Poetry, Story telling, Spelling Bee, Singing, Dramatics, Dance, Quiz, Poster Preparation, Hand writing, Debates, Athletics, Games and gymnastics and Students' Publication, Rangoli & Exhibitions.

SCHIKARSHIPS & CASH AWARDS

  1. Prize and Cash awards are given to class/students excelling in studies / activities / sports/discipline during the year. Besides, poor & economically backward students are also helped.

  2. N.B.: Parents are encouraged to donate towards the same.


  3. Good conduct, regular attendance and passing in all subjects are indispensable conditions for winning the award.
  4. Withdrawal from the school will disqualify the student for any prize. The prize winners failing to be present at the distrib...ion without valid reason may forfeit their prizes.
  5. For General Proficiency Prize the student should secures an average of 70% of the total marks obtainable.
